Comforts & Peace of Mind
With over 15 years in the tourism industry, our goal with Apartment Alexander is not only to offer you a place to rest for your stay in this beautiful village, but to give you the experience of truly enjoying your holiday, making the most of the little time given nowadays to relax, spend time with family and friends and recuperate.
For that reason we have racked our brains, to think of all the items a family might need for a holiday and if we don’t have it covered already, then by all means get in contact with us before your stay and we will do our upmost to help you out.
We are able to provide: cots, highchair and bed guard for your comfort and peace of mind. The apartment is equipped with a kettle, fridge and microwave so that important items of food/drink can be prepared and stored. Children’s cups, plates and cutlery are also available.
Seefeld has a park located next to the lake, and an adventure park at the top of the mountain railway. The paths are wide and there are lots of lowered curbs throughout the village.
The mountain railway can easily accommodate a buggy, as can the restaurant at the top, which is also equipped with baby changing.
There are many family friendly walking paths, most of which a buggy is suitable, some offer extra attractions along the trails, a particular favourite is the walk around the lake, with a visit to see the ducks and squirrels.
Most of the restaurants easily cater for families with the addition of high chairs, children’s menus, colouring for the children and changing facilities. Particularly good for children are Alte Seefeld restaurant and Café Tenne.
And of course every child loves a train trip, the train from Seefeld goes to Innsbruck and to Mittenwald.
The supermarkets in Seefeld have everything you need if you need to stock up on baby food, milk, nappies or anything else, in addition there is also a Bipa in Seefeld which specialises in toiletries and baby products.
The Seefeld Olympia centre also offers family fun with a children’s pool and a family slide.
Skiing with Family
If planning on skiing with the family, children can be accepted from age 3 in the local ski schools, where you can book a trial session and if all goes well extend, of if confident you can also book up to 5 days. For the younger children (3-5yrs) there is a 2 hour option, for the older children, ski school is 4 hours a day. This can also be pre booked in advanced via the ski school.
Equipment hire is also easy to get for the children, most hire shops also rent out toboggans and bum boards for a bit of fun in the snow too, don’t forget to ask at the ski hire shops about storage to save you carrying lots of equipment backwards and forwards.
